UK unemployment rate continues to increase

Official figures have shown that the United Kingdom's unemployment rose by 48000 to 2.67 million until recent three months starting from December. The unemployment rate was 8.4%, which was the highest for 16 years. The amount of young people with no job increased 22,000 to 1.04 million; 16 to 24 year olds took 22.2%.
The amount of job vacancies increased to 476,000 in recent three months to January, while the unemployment propotion is now at the peak since 1995.
"It is quite a blended picture. There are omens of stability. The inactivity degree is declining," said a work and pensions minister, Lord Freud.
"Ministers necessarily now get a grip when unemployment is at its highest rate since 1995, also long period youth unemployment doubling in the last year," Labour's shadow work and pensions secretary Liam Byrne says.
Although the unemployment is continuing to rise, the dimension of the workforce in paid work also increased.
The obvious inconsistency is described by the truth that the amount of people categorized as economically inactive has declined. This involved a decrease in the number of people classified as long period sick or retired who went back again into the workforce.
Unemployment is not only a problem in UK. Other countries like Korea, unemployment is a serious problem. Korea is becoming a graying society. So, young people can't easily have a job. The ministry of Employment and Labor of Korea is giving a solution for this problem.
  1. Welfare Society sublate
  2. Job Young
  3. Employment Center
I hope the unemployment problem can be resolved well.

Argentinian leader declares 'militarization' of the South Atlantic

The president of Argentina, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, had an announcement at a meeting of MPs, senior officials, and veterans of the war that Argentina fought with Britain over the Falkland Islands on 1982.
The suspense was increasing recently between two countries. The UK reported last month, that it was sending a destroyer to the area. The Malvinas is a highly sensitive point for Buenos Aires until recently. The same month the UK said it was sending a destroyer, it was dispatching HMS Dauntless, one of its newest destroyers, to the South Atlantic, off the Falklands. They explained the act as "routine".
The grandson of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William, was also deployed to the Falkland islands as a search and rescue helicopter pilot.
President Cristina Fernandez's government has secured the political help of nations, those that have banned ships flying the Falklands flag from visiting their harbours like Brazil and Uruguay. Additionaly Chile's foreign minister also recently denounced his help for Argentine sovereignty over the islands.
Near the government palace wher president Fernandz was soeaking, a crew was waving Argentine flags and yelling "Malvinas".
(Britain has held the islands since 1833.)
